Game Installation

The installation consists of a First Person Shooter level – staged on a European map with political hot-spots marked by particle effects. Borderlines define allegedly ethnic or political areas and are often conflict loaden, irrational, historically grown and completely arbitrary. Borderline personality disorder is a psychiatric diagnosis that describes a prolonged disturbance of personality function characterized by depth and variability of moods.

The disorder typically involves black and white thinking or «splitting»; chaotic and unstable interpersonal relationships, self-image, identity and behavior.
